這是一個在Quantum GIS（簡稱QGIS）中使用網路上公開地圖的工具。為降低使用及安裝門檻，此工具不需安裝，僅需在QGIS的WMS圖層中加入主機網址即可使用各種地圖。
使用方式如同QGIS之WMS圖層，而且速度更快、錯誤更少。僅需設定一次，之後此工具的地圖或程式更新，自動套用不須進行任何更新程序。目前可適用在任何作業系統上的QGIS 1.5至QGIS 2.X版本。
支援地圖的種類為臺灣地圖、中國地圖及世界地圖。地圖種類包括一般街道地圖、地形圖、衛星影像及中國與臺灣歷史地圖。
本工具僅提供地圖資料之位置運算之服務，QGIS中顯示網路公開地圖的所有權及使用規範請遵循及參照地圖提供者。
希望藉著免費且功能完整的QGIS，加上豐富的參考地圖，增進GIS的親近性，讓一般人都有能力學習及使用GIS工具產生自己的地圖、詮譯自己的觀點及想法。

簡易設定方式
1.開啟 QGIS
2.[圖層]=>[加入WMS 圖層]
3.[新增]
4.輸入以下資訊
名稱:可自取，如Cloud Maps
URL網址依需求選擇下列一行輸入
所有地圖：
http://wmsproxy.appspot.com/map.jsp
或依地區輸入
世界地圖：
http://wmsproxy.appspot.com/CloudMaps.jsp
中國地圖：
http://wmsproxy.appspot.com/China.jsp
臺灣地圖
http://wmsproxy.appspot.com/Taiwan.jsp
5.選取剛剛自訂的主機名稱 [Cloud Maps]，之後按 [連接]
6.之後會顯示所有的地圖清單，即可依地圖名稱及時代加入所需地圖
